The Story

Grey stone is the hardest material to make beautiful — there is no colour to hide behind, only shape. Here the carving does all the speaking: a rounded body, a small deliberate neck, and a silver collar that reads like a single struck line.

About This Work

A compact grey stone body, hand-carved to a rounded profile with a short cylindrical neck. Because the material offers no colour, the work rests entirely on the cut, finished with a single struck silver collar and stopper.
