The Story

The floral relief was cut directly into the amber, so the flowers seem suspended inside the light rather than laid on top of it. Warm resin, cool silver, and a stopper that closes with a soft click.

About This Work

The floral relief is cut into the amber itself rather than applied, so the ornament sits within the body of the material. Silver collar, stopper and suspension elements are hand-fabricated and fitted to the carved opening.
