The Story

Labradorite hides its colour until it is moved. Grzegorz oriented the carving so the flash of blue rises across the face of the vessel as you tilt it — the piece is designed for the turn of a wrist.

About This Work

A labradorite body oriented during carving so its blue schiller crosses the face of the vessel as it is tilted. Silver collar, stopper and loop are hand-raised and fitted to the carved neck.

Entirely carved, fabricated and finished by Grzegorz Kiernicki. Each vessel is a unique work created by the artist by hand.
